McGill University, Montreal, Fall 2018

This project all started with the orthographic abstraction of an object: a fire hydrant. Multiple sets of
superpositions, multiplications and transformations helped derive a comprehensive system for generating forms. It is this formal system that was deployed on the Leacock building in the McGill University campus to change the way users interact with the space. What if going up and down a functionalist building became the end in itself rather than the means?
